Statement: Radio, like love, can be defined as the transmission of signals across space. The work, “You,” traverses this space by mapping the very short word that represents the infinite gulf between self and other.
Brief Bio: The audio work of Canadian Sarah Boothroyd has been featured by broadcasters, festivals and galleries in over 25 countries. She has won awards from Third Coast International Audio Festival, New York Festivals, the European Broadcasting Union, and La Muse En Circuit.
